Costco Flower Experience
Wanted to share our positive experience with costco flowers. Got the 10 piece soft grace package, plus some babys breath, garland and pink roses. Plus 1/4th the cost of a florist!

glad to know! I'm going the costco route too for price and selection, the bulk flowers seem great! also thanks for the idea of putting a garland by the steps instead of the rail on the stairs, I have a spiral staircase I want to decorate that looks lovely.

So dreamy!!! Just curious how much $ did it run you?

After tax and such it was around $500.
Soft grace package (all the bouquets, corsages, etc, some of which we took apart to use as part of the centerpieces)-$250
50 pink roses-$40
Garland-$100
Babys breath-looks like costco is out of stock rn of it but thinking it was $50?

Looks stunning, so pretty! I am planning to go this route, but am struggling to figure out how/who does the set-up day-of. What did you do? Did you hire a florist just to set up/take down? Or did you have a friend do it?? Thanks!
level 2
Not OP but we plan to do a similar thing- anything that can reasonably be set up the day before we will do before (you can use floral wire to attach it to whatever structures you need so long as there is a space to wrap). Things like the tables however will be set in specified buckets to hopefully make unloading easier/more efficient. According to my FMIL (professional gardener for 10ish years) the garlands we plan to use will be fine for that amount of time (about a day) so long as we mist them the night before and sometime during the day before the wedding actually happens (afternoon wedding for us). Flowers are all unique so youd have to research what you want and what they need to adjust.
Best of luck!

Thanks! We put everything in water buckets in the garage the day before and that really let all the flowers open up. No florist because the wedding was at my husband's parents house! My MIL had some friends come the night before and day of to help get everything set up. If you are at a formal venue, a day of coordinator might be nice, but family/friends might be able to help as well!
level 2
Even for a small wedding, I think a day-of coordinator is worth the money. I've read so many horror stories about things going wrong that close friends/family members have to deal with, that end up detracting from the specialness of the day. Plus they'll make sure you get all the pictures you want, the DJ plays the right songs, and generally keep the trains running on time.

I'm wondering the same thing!

Wow! Would love to know what this cost you!

Thank you for sharing! I'm planning on going with Costco flowers too so it's great to see them 😁 Please give more details! What did you order?
level 2
We ordered the mixed 50 stem pink rose kit, the 10 piece soft grace package, the greenery garland, and some babys breath.

Incredible quality! Thanks for sharing. Congrats!

LOVE!! We did the greenery garlands for our wedding two weeks ago as well and they far exceeded my expectations! So dreamy!!

I am considering this route as well. Any suggestions to make it go smoothly?
level 2
Make sure you give the flowers a bit of time to open up the day before by putting them in water buckets! They looked really good even right out of the box, but really great after having time to sit in water! And definitely recruit some help with setup from family friends or someone else, its too much work for just one person!
level 1
Thank you so much for sharing this! It looks beautiful
level 1
Beautiful!!! What did you stick the flowers and such in? And where did you get the cups the candles are in?
level 2
We stuck the flowers in large buckets filled with water (the kind you can get at home depot to use for painting). The cups are actually heirlooms from my husband's grandparents wedding.

Thanks for posting--we are also thinking of getting the Soft Grace package from Costco!
I am wondering...do you happen to remember how wide the greenery runner was? I know the lengths but don't know how wide...which would impact our decorations. I am thinking of doing a table runner but am worried that the greenery might completely cover it up.
No worries if you don't know. I can try to reach out to Costco to find out...
level 2
Sorry I don't remember the exact width but they were pretty thick! I'm sure Costco could give you an exact number
